Packing of reference libraries for nursing students

At present, the Center has completed more than 40 books and manuals that are used in most of the 460 nursing schools throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo and by numerous medical doctors working in remote areas. Their medical content is checked and updated regularly by a network of professional doctors who work in the DRC, Europe, and the United States, and who all have a long experience of medical practice in Sub-Saharan Africa.

These books are distributed in collections as “reference libraries” using the gifts that the Center receives each year.

The Center mainly distributes:

• the reference library for nursing students, consisting of 24 books (€ 75)
• the reference library for medical doctors working in remote areas, consisting of 26 books (€ 120)
• the reference library for a nursing school, consisting of 460 manuals and documents (€ 1500)
